How about maintenance?

Answer:

The system is very maintainable. Additions or deletions of specific stations are easily handled in the host by simply putting stations "on line" or "off line". The DARTs themselves are identical, requiring only an internal DIP switch setting to set the address to which it will respond. Connections are: data cable to the workstation monitor (Series 300 or Series 53xx), RS-485 communication cable (in and out), power from the AC transformer (existing) and power to the workstation monitor.
