Question:

How big is the Event Log file, how is it named?

Answer:

The Event Log file size depends on many factors, such as system size, performance, event recording method, etc. The file is written in the Novx Mux folder. You have the option of selecting the file naming method in the Configuration Screen. In the Configuration Screen if "FIXED" is selected then the Event Log file will be named "Events.xls". If "BY DAY" is selected then the file will be named "Events yymmdd.xls", which means each day a unique file name will automatically be used for the Event Log file. If "BY HOUR" is selected then the file will be named "Events yymmddhh.xls", which means each day a unique file name will automatically be used for the Event Log file.

Note: yy = year, mm=month, dd=day, hh=hour (24).
